Managed one start (out of six qualification attempts) for Hesketh in 1977. Raced for Team Rebaque as a privateer using various Lotus chassis in 1978 and 1979 seasons. This included the HR-100, which was a Penske modified Lotus 79. Went on to have an average spell driving for Brabham in the 1980 and 1981 seasons.
