Lotus 87/87B (1981-82)
With the banning of the Lotus 86 and the threat of the same for the Lotus 88, the Lotus 87 was quickly produced to provide an eligable car. However when the Lotus 88B was banned, the Lotus 87 ended up having a longer (and uneventful) life then expected, just like the Lotus 79 and Lotus 81 before it.
